Veterans Benefits

The Center for Furniture Craftsmanship's  Twelve-week Intensive and Nine-month Comprehensive programs are approved for the use of GI Bill education benefits.

Application Process

For the Twelve-week Intensive, all students are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. See registration page for registration procedures, fees and deposits. GI Bill beneficiaries are required to provide a letter of eligibility for benefits issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

For the Nine-month Comprehensive, GI Bill beneficiaries should follow the standard application procedure, which can be found here. GI Bill beneficiaries are required to provide a letter of eligibility for benefits issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Refund policy for GI Bill Beneficiaries

In the event a student using the GI Bill (GI Bill Beneficiary) withdraws from a course prior to the end date, the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship will provide the VA with a pro-rata refund of tuition paid by the VA, and the student will be liable for the full unpaid balance of tuition on the course, plus any materials fees that he or she has incurred. The student must notify a certifying official at the Center, in writing, of the date of withdrawal. The refund to the VA is calculated based on the number of full instruction days remaining in the program after the receipt of this notification or after the actual date of withdrawal, whichever occurs later.
