This course for intermediate woodworkers focuses on the design and construction of casepieces, such as cabinets, dressers, tables, and chests. Tim teaches all aspects of solid-wood casepiece construction, from general principles right down to the fine points of fitting drawers and hanging doors.
Every participant builds an individual project with extensive one-on-one guidance. Students are encouraged to explore new design ideas and improve their versatility with the design process.
Tim Rousseau divides his time between building furniture on commission in Appleton, ME and teaching at the Center.
