“This exhibit is a very important one to me as it explores the possibilities of creativeness beyond the scope of the lathe. For me it allows freedom of expression while still using the lathe as a very important focal point to the piece. As woodturning continues to grow as an art form, it is important not to forget our roots as well as acknowledge the pioneers of the field who paved the way for many of us to radiate in their footsteps.”
