“I continue to explore how pattern and texture interact with form in my newest square ceremonial bowls and platters. My “Hudson Bay” pieces were inspired by wave patterns in the sand on the shores of Hudson Bay.
By combining a controlled layout with spontaneous movements, patterns emerge reminiscent of ocean waves or fire or some long forgotten language.
