Kristin Terpening
Kristin spent fifteen years as a professional biologist. Through taking woodworking courses at a local community college, she discovered that creating her own furniture was very important to her. In 2003 she made a significant life change. Selling her home in Austin, Texas she relocated to Maine to pursue furniture making as a full-time career. Kristin has assisted in several workshops and has just finished a full year as a Studio Fellow here at the Center.
