“I came to The Center for a 3-month fellowship with the intention of learning to turn wood so I could add different elements to my furniture. I left The Center with an entirely different outlook on my work and heading in a totally different direction than I thought I would. I have now started to turn wood that is not related to my furniture, but is an addition to my furniture. I am turning practical pieces; Pepper Mills, lamps, bowls and impractical pieces; 'The Gourmet Croquet Set'.”
