“A shell on the beach, the movement of water, the spiral trunk of a tree or a spider making its web -- My mind follows the natural path of spirals. This sacred movement is eternal throughout all of nature. The motion creates strength and energy, which often is hidden. A vine does not grow straight on an axis rather it twists around it adding strength and durability to itself. To me the spiral movement relates to all life. It is the wind that surrounds us all, constantly moving but never seen, unless we look for it through the movement of the leaves of a tree. This natural form is what inspires much of my work”
