After crossing the Pacific Ocean from Japan, I lived on the West Coast of the United States for a while. Now, all the way across the North American continent, I live on the East Coast. It is far from where I used to belong. I am not sure where my life is going, yet I know I am enjoying my journey of life.

The piece inspired by a boat, Vessel I, is going to have a pair to create an image of wings, stretching the original sense of the inspiration. I am getting ready to ascend. I am collecting and protecting the vulnerable but necessary experiences, wisdom, and memories for my life ahead. – Yuri Kobayashi
