Puzzle Boxes, 2008
Various veneers and rare-earth magnets
4"x4"
Sometimes design ideas evolve out of design challenges. My client was looking for a precious delivery container that would hold a 4 oz. jar. I was trying to avoid tiny hinges and locks. These puzzle boxes are the result. Reminiscent of a Rubik’s Cube, they provide the service of a box, but with a fun twist. Toys for grown-ups. – Mason McBrien
