"It may seem odd, but in many ways I have Maine winters to thank for my love of woodworking, Maine winters drove me indoors, out of the cold and into my dad’s basement shop to pursue woodworking. I have now been woodworking as a hobbyist for over 15 years and look forward to winter every year. I prefer shapes and forms that are powerful in their simplicity. I approach design in a pure manner and strive to keep 'noise' to a minimum."
