The Walton NE side chair is one of the first chairs Peter Thompson designed and built in his small furniture shop. When designing this chair Peter was interested in creating a chair with appealing curves that would make it move in space.
Apart from the front legs, which are cut and shaped from four inch thick stock, the rest of the chair is worked up by hand from two inch thick, rough, black walnut boards to produce this beautiful piece. The unique characteristics of this chair create elegant and feminine lines that flow together.
