This exhibition is a gathering of wood art with uncommon proportions for such a medium. We usually think of large objects of utility in reference to handmade items in wood; tables, chairs, boats, structures…. There is an added sense of beauty when an object can be held in the palm of your hand. Delicate, tactile, inviting and cherished can easily describe the virtues we see and feel in their sense of preciousness. This exhibit celebrates the scale which makes these objects so valued and admired.
