Mike Cyphers

Mike grew up on a Christmas tree farm and spent much of his time in the woods with nature. He has worked on local farms and as a construction equipment mechanic since graduating from high school. Throughout Mikes life he has enjoyed working with his hands, whether it be fixing machines or working on houses. When working on these things he felt he was working on predesigned forms. Learning design and craftsmanship affords Mike the opportunity to use his creativity while still working with his hands. After completing the Nine-month Comprehensive he hopes to become self-employed as a furniture maker.
